Membership Info
We represent every CNS in Texas at multiple tables and venues including: the Board of Nursing Advance Practice Advisory Committee; the Coalition for Nurses in Advanced Practice (CNAP); the Advisory Committee for Texas Health and Human Services; and with CNS educators at Schools of Nursing that prepare graduate students for the CNS role of the future. One of our members is in a key role nationally teaching the ANCC Adult Health exam prep course to ensure that there is a good match between the educational preparation of our CNS students and the national certification exam. We also had a CNS member representing us on the negotiation Task Force with the Texas Medical Association on issues related to APN scope of practice.
We value and need you as a member to continue to grow our organization to ensure a healthy future. Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you in advance!
