Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Deer Oaks Med Management Associates is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health, Family, Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join its team in San Antonio, TX to provide Full-Time services in nursing homes (San Antonio, TX) as part of a multidisciplinary team that could include psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists, licensed clinical social workers, and nursing home staff.

Our Nurse Practitioners provide psychiatric assessments and ongoing psychiatric medication management in an interdisciplinary team approach to ensure the combination of therapy techniques and medication are used for the best patient outcomes.  If you have the experience needed of providing psychiatric assessments and prescribing and managing psychiatric medications we would like to speak to you.

Qualifications

  • Master's of Science in Nursing   
  • Valid Texas APRN License 
  • Valid DEA License
  • Experience Managing Psychiatric Medications 
  • Experience working with elderly population 
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
